Caramelized Pineapple Milkshake

This sweet, creamy milkshake comes with a slight kick of tropical heat.

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil e.g. vegetable or canola
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Toasted coconut flakes


  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Toss pineapple chunks with oil and cayenne powder. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes turning once, until caramelized. Remove from oven and cool.
  • In blender combine pineapple, cinnamon, nutmeg, milk, and ice cream. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and garnish with coconut flakes. Enjoy!
