Add a touch of sweet spice to your regular iced cold brew coffee. This recipe includes syrup that is infused with cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and a touch of pepper that brings a nice touch of exotic flavor with every sip.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 5 black peppercorns
- 5 whole cardamom pods
- 2 cups cold brew concentrate
- 1 cup half & half
Instructions
- To make the spiced syrup, add water, sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, peppercorns, and cardamom pods to a saucepan over high heat
- Bring the mixture just to a boil, stir, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes
- Remove from heat, allow to cool, then strain the liquid from the spices into a container; discard the spices
- In a pitcher, pour coffee, half & half, and 1/2 cup of the syrup. Stir well to combine
- Pour spiced coffee mix into glasses filled with ice
- Sip and enjoy!
