Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Course Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature
- 1 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Chile Powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl beat together butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until fluffy, add eggs. On low speed gradually add flour mixture. In a small bowl combine remaining sugar, cinnamon, and chile powder. Form 1" balls of dough and roll in mixture. Bake for 10 minutes. Dig in!
