Tackle Hunger Native Health Milk Donation Drive

Jun 13, 2025Families, Opportunities, Uncategorized

Milk is a luxury item at food banks. It is one of the most requested and least donated food items. On average, people served by food banks receive the equivalent of less than one gallon per person per year.

Your online donation will provide fresh milk to urban American Indians, Alaska Natives, and others facing food insecurity who are served by Native Health.

Milk is a nutrient powerhouse – providing 13 essential nutrients, including 8 grams of high-quality protein per serving – and is the top food source of three of the nutrients most likely to be missing from kids’ diets: calcium, vitamin D and potassium. You can help get nutrient-rich milk to kids and families in our community who struggle with food insecurity.

Help us reach our goal of raising $500. As a thank-you, for every donation of twenty-five dollars or more, you will receive an adorable cow plushy!
